Delicious eaten whole and don’t need to be peeled! Generally sweeter than regular varieties, green with very thin 'fuzzless' skin and are the size of grapes. Plants prefer a sunny spot where they can climb along a trellis or cover a pergola.

Hayward is one of the best traditional varieties to grow in the UK, because it flowers later in the season and produces a heavy crop of large fruits with superb flavour. Hayward is a self sterile female plant so it must be planted next to a male plant to provide pollen in order to produce fruit.
We recommend planting Kiwi Tomouri as a male plant as this will only produce flowers and aid pollination.
Plants can grow up to 9m (30ft) tall.

Jenny is the only self-fertile variety in cultivation. Vigorous, hardy plants produce large attractive red-tipped early growth and a heavy crop of small (walnut sized) very sweet fruits in late summer. Ideal if you only have space for one of these spectacular climbers in your fruit garden.
Plants can grow up to 3.6m (12 feet) tall.
