Description

Quick maturing crops of pods which form above the leaves for easier harvesting. Pods grow up to 20cm in length.

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds outdoors from May to July, directly into rich, well prepared soil in a sunny spot, 3 or 4 seeds together 4cm deep. Allow 20cm between each group of seeds in the row and allow 45cm between rows. Also ideal for growing in large pots and containers.

Growing Instructions

Hoe regularly and keep watered, adding a mulch during hottest, dry periods.

Aftercare

Pick pods regularly whilst young for heaviest yields and to extend the season.

Delicious steamed, boiled or stir fried.
